On the 2nd Saturday of each month (April-November), as long as the weather cooperates, CFOM opens up our donation trailer in the rear parking lot of McCarthy Middle School, from 10 am until 2 pm. With the help of Chelmsford music students, we check & sort all donations and prepare them for pick up by our recycling partners.
We accept Plastic, Glass, and Aluminum returnable bottles and cans that are reasonably clean and not flattened. The bottles and cans must be marked with the MA 5 cent deposit marking. (Hint: If it’s Not carbonated, it’s Not redeemable.) As always, for the safety of our volunteers, please separate glass bottles before dropping them off, and check that all items are labeled MA redeemable. Please do not bring other recycling that is not returnable or does not include MA in the list of states that accept the item.

Volunteers
We can always use volunteers to help us for any amount of time you can offer, and will certify your community service hours for most organizations. High School musicians may use these hours toward CFOM scholarship qualifications.
